Front 35S 176W 37S 173W 40S 171W moving east 30kt. Within 240 nautical miles northeast of front: Northwest quarter 25kt, with poor visibility in rain at times. Within 360 nautical miles southwest of front from 36S 174W to 40S 171W: Southwest 25kt. West of New Zealand, south of 36S: Southwest quarter 25kt at times, with gales as in warning 337,and areas of heavy southwest swell. Outlook following 72 hours: Slow-moving ridge along 30S, shifting to 34S around 181200UTC. Westerly 20 to 30kt south of ridge, and heavy southwest swells west of New Zealand south of 34S until 191200UTC. Easterly 20 to 30kt developing north of 28S around 191200UTC.
