First ridge 27S 170W 33S 151W 40S 143W 41S 120W moving eastsoutheast 20kt.north of ridge, east of 150W: Easterly quarter 25kt, with poor visibility in rain within 60 nautical miles of front 29S 129W 32S 126W 34S 120W moving east 15kt. Second ridge 41S 142W 50S 137W 55S 135W moving east 30kt. South of first ridge, east of second ridge: Southwest quarter 25kt, with gales as in warning 503, with heavy southwest swells easing by 200000UTC. South of first ridge, west of second ridge: Northwest quarter 25kt, clockwise about low 968hPa near 51S 164W moving southsoutheast 50kt, with storms and gales as in warnings 501 504 and 505, heavy northwest swells, and areas of fog south of 50S. Outlook following 72 hours: High near 42S 135W, extends ridges to east and northwest, all moving slowly southeast. Complex low near 45S 170W, moving southeast. North of ridges: Southeast 20 to 30kt tending clockwise gales about slow moving low developing near 30S 125W around 221200UTC. Southwest of ridges:Northerly quarter 20 to 30kt, but gales south of 30S, tending clockwise about compex low. Areas of heavy swell in gales.
