Complex low with two centres, first low centre 1005hPa near 35S 131W
moving southeast 20kt, second low centre 1004hPa near 38S 132W moving
northnortheast 20kt and filling in by 130600UTC. Ridge 25S 145W 42S
148W 49S 140W 51S 120W moving east 10kt. East of ridge: Clockwise
25kt about first and second lows, with gales as in warning 270, and
heavy clockwise swell. Poor visibility in rain within 60 nautical
miles of front 25S 160W 30S 156W 46S 164W 55S 160W moving
eastsoutheast 10kt. Between ridge and front, south of 30S: Northerly
quarter 25kt, with gales as in warning 271 and 272, and heavy
northerly quarter swell with gales. Areas of fog possible within 240
nautical miles east of front, south of 50S. 
Outlook following 72 hours:
Low near 37S 125W, moving east. Clockwise 20 to 30kt about low, and
areas of heavy swell. Large, slow moving high centred near 40S 150W.
South of 50S: Westerly quarter 20 to 30kt and areas of heavy westerly
quarter swell. North of 30S: Easterly quarter 20 to 30kt developing
after 150000UTC.
