130600UTC.First ridge 30S 151W 44S 146W 55S 127W moving northeast
20kt. Second ridge expected 44S 146W 47S 151W 52S 159W 130600UTC,
moving eastsoutheast 15kt. Front 32S 170W 36S 167W 45S 168W 55S 161W
moving east 20kt. Between first ridge and front:Northwest quarter
25kt,with gales as in warning 232,tending westerly southeast of
second ridge, with areas of fog south of 44S, and poor visibility in
rain within 60 nautical miles of front. West of front,between 33S and
42S:Westerly quarter 25kt.Heavy southwest swells north of 40S, east
of 138W, easing by 131200UTC.
Outlook following 72 hours:
First low near 42S 125W, moving east. High near 37S 145W slowly
moving east. Second low near 45S 165W, moving eastsoutheast. In a
broad area around high: Anti-clockwise 20 to 30kt, tending clockwise
near first and second lows, with gales and heavy southwest swell
south of 45S and east of high.
