gales as in warning 071, and heavy northwest quarter swell, all
easing after 071800UTC. Front 25S 151W 33S 146W 38S 141W moving
southeast 30kt. Within 600 nautical miles east of front: Northerly
quarter 25kt at times, with gales as in warning 072, and developing
from 071200UTC heavy northwest swell. Within 600 nautical miles east
of front, spreading southeast with front but still extending north to
25S: Poor visibility in rain at times. First ridge 51S 170W 55S 162W
60S 149W moving eastnortheast 35kt. Second ridge expected along 44S
170W 51S 168W 55S 167W by 080000UTC, then moving east 15kt. Southwest
of first ridge: Westerly quarter 25kt at times, easing along second
ridge. In a belt 420 nautical miles wide centred on a line 49S 163W
46S 162W 41S 161W: Southerly quarter 25kt, easing after 080000UTC.

between second ridge and trough, with heavy swells. Southwest 25kt to
