A Memorial of an Article or Instrum^t in writing bear^g date the third of Nov^r one thous^d seven hun^d and Forty seven whereby Peter Edkins did promise to leave his father George Edkins in possion of all his Int^t of the Lease his said father has Assigned to him of Tanners Row & in Receipt of all profits that will accrue thereout during his Nat^l Life and in case he should die before his said father he did likewise promise & Engage to leave his father one hundred & fifty pounds Ster^g & he did likewise promise & Engage to perfect a Bond for two hundred pounds Ster^g to his sister Rebecca Edkins without Int^t to be paid to her on the day of her Marriage & in case she should die before marriage he then promised to pay s^d sum to his father or his Ass^s six months after her Death & further promised that at any time if his father did not approve of the wording of s^d Article of which this writing is a mem^l to put the intent of it in any Shape he thought proper w^ch said article is witnessed by the said James Edkins & Thomas Williamson.
