A Memoriall of a Deed of Mortgage indented bearing date the Twenty first day of January One thousand seven hundred and Twenty, made between John Edkins of the City of Dublin Merchant of the one part, and Joshua Pasley of Rosetowne in the County of Kildare Gent. of the other part whereby the sd John Edkins for the Considerations therein menconed, hath granted sold assigned and made over unto the sad Joshua Pasley, All that new House or Tenement lately built by William Taylor Cabinetmaker, Situate on the East Side of St Bridgett's Street in the suburbs of the City of Dublin containing in breadth in the front to the said Street Twenty one foot or thereabouts (be the same more or less) bounded on the West to the said Street, on the East to a party wall built between the said Backside and Mr James Savile's Backside or Yard, On the North to the Wall of Mr Walker's Backside, and on the South to the other part of the said Wm Taylor's Holding, Together with the Appurtences thereunto belonging as the same was then built Also all the Estate Title Interest Term of Years to come and unexpired Right and Benefit of Renewal, Property Claim Challenge and Demand whtsoever both in Law and Equity of him the said John Edkins his Exrs and Adms of in and to the said Premises by virtue of a certain Lease therein recited, dated the Twenty third day of March One Thousand Seven hundred and sixteen from the said Wm Taylor to the said John Edkins for Thirty Years from the Twenty fifth day of that Instant March At the Rent of Twenty two pounds Ster: p Annm, or otherwise, To hold unto the said Joshua Pasley his Exrs Adms and Assignes, from thenceforth during all the Remainder of the said Term of Thirty Years in and by the said recited lease granted then to come and unexpired, At and under the said Yearly Rent and the Covenants and Agreemts in the said Lease reserved and contained on the part of the sd John Edkins his Exrs Adms and Assignes to be paid done & performed. Which said Deed of Mortgage is witnessed by Thomas Cooke Junr Clerke to Mr Thomas Cooke Publick Notary and by the said Thos Cooke Publick Notary [signatures]

The above named Thomas Cooke Junr maketh oath etc. etc.

Delivered to Mr Wm Parry Deputy Regr on the 23d day of January 1720 at or near a Quarter of an hour after Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.
