A Memorial of an indented deed of Assignment bearing date the 31st day of Decr 1839 & make between Samuel Wright Knox of Blessington street in the City of Dublin Esqr of the first part : Matilda Knox of Blessington Street aforesd Spinster of the second part Samuel Knox of Blessington Street aforesd Esqr of the third part Martha Edkins of Lower Dorset Street in the sd City off Dublin Spinster of the fourth part John Twigg of Dominick street in the City of Dublin Mercht and Elizabeth Twigg owe Elizabet Knox of the fifth part William Peebles of North Frederick street in the sd City of Dublin Attey at Law and Anna Peebles owe Knox his Wife of the sixth part and George Fergusson of Lower Gloucester Street in sd City of Dublin Esqr of the seventh part - After reciting as therein sdid Deed Witnessed that for and in conson of the sum of Six hundred pounds stg (?) the sd Samuel Wright Knox paid (the receipt of which was thereby acknowledged) they the sd Samuel Wright Knox and Martha Edkins, did thereby bargain sell assign transfer & set over unto the sd Geroge Fergusson his exors admors & assigns All that & those the piece or plot of ground situate on the North side of Bayview Avenue together with the four dwelling houses & out offices erected thereon with the appurts then Numbered 35. 36, 37 and 38 and all & singular other the premies comprised in & expressed to be demised by the therein in part recited Indre of Lease of the first day of July 1834 make between Christopher McDonnell of Bayview Cottage in the City of Dublin Builder of the one part & sd Martha Edkins of the other part and which sd premes are situate in the parish of Stain Thoms and City of Dublin To hold unto the sd George Fergusson his exors admors and Assigns from thenceforth for & during all the rest & residue of the term of Nine hundred & seventy five years in & by sd Lease granted Subject nevertheless to the payment of the yearly Rents & to the performance of the Cots by sd Lease reserved & make payable And the sd Matilda Knox, Samuel Knox, John Twigg & Elizabeth his wife & William Peebles and Anna his Wife for the consons therein mentd did therby release the same premes unto the sd George Fergusson his exors admors & assigns of from & against all claims & demand whatsoever affecting sd premes which they or any of them had at law or in Equity and the sd deed contained the usual Covenants for title & for further Assurance and was as to the execution thereof by the sd Samual Wright Knox and Martha Edkins and this Memorial Witnessed by John S Richardson of Philipsburgh Avenue in the Coy of Dublin and James Bayham of Moore Street in the City of Dublin both Clerks to Robert Anthony Disney of the City of Dublin Solicitor Samuel Wright Knox (seal) Martha Edkins (seal) Sam Knox (seal) Signed and sealed in presence of Jno S Richardson Clerk to Robt A Disney Solr James Baynham Clerk to same The above named John S Richardson maketh oath & saith that he was present & did see the Deed of which the above writing is a Memorial duly execute & the above Memorial duly signed & sealed by Samuel Wright Knox Martha Edkins parties (?) deed & deponent saith that the name John S Richardson subscirbed as a Witness to sd Deed & Memorial resply as tot eh Execution thereof by sd parties are resply Depts name & hand writing & Deponent saith that he delivered sd deed & memorial to Walter Glascock Esqr Assistant Register at the Registry of Deeds Office in the City of Dublin at or near the hour of 10 minutes before two oClock int eh afternoon of Saturday the fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousd Eight Hundred & forty Jno S Richardson Sworn before me the 4th day of January 1840 - Walter Glascock Att
