A memorial of an Indenture of Lease and release bearing date thirteenth day of August One thousand eight hundred and twenty whereby Anthony Wills of the City of Dublin Esq George Atkins of the City of London Gentn and Ephraim Carroll of the said City of Dublin Esq for the consideration therein mentioned demised released and confirmed unto Patrick O Donnell of the said City of Dublin Merchant and Grocer and to his heirs and assigns all that and those that piece or pieces Of ground situate on the South Side of Thomas Street called and known By the name of the Inn Yard Containing in length from North to South One hundred and ninety five feet in in Breath from East to West forty feet The said ? more or less and bounded on the east by the rere Of House situate on the west side of Vicars Street on the West by the use of Houses on the east side of the Molyeise Yard on the North partly by ? Of the said Patrick O Donnells Dwelling House and partly by the rere of Messs ? Dwelling House and a gateway or passage leading to Thomas ? And on the South by the rere of the Houses on the North Side of ? Alley and which said ground and premises are situate ?? In the parish of Saint Catherine and County of the City of Dublin ? And were then in the actual possession of the said Patrick O Donnell By virtue of a Lease for one year there recited To Hold unto said Patrick O Donnell his heirs and assigns for and during the natural lives and life of Michael O Donnel Robert O Donnell and Catherine O Donnell Children of the said Patrick O Donnell and the survivors and survivor of them ? for and during such other lives as should for ever thereof be vested and added to the time and term of the Said ? virtue and in pursuance of the Covenant for perpetual renewal therein contained at the yearly rent of twenty two pounds fifteen shillings sterling payable half yearly on every twenty fifth day of March & twenty ninth day of Septr above taxes as therein mentioned and one pepper corn as renewal fine on the fall of each life which said lease as to the execution thereof by the said George Atkins is witnessed by Martin ? & James ? both of the City of Dublin Esq and ? Lease as the execution thereof by Ephraim Carroll is witnessed by Anne Doherty of the City Dublin Spinster and John Jones of sd City Gentn and said lease as to the execution there by ? Wills Is witnessed by E D Mapother?
