A Memorial of a Deed of Assignment bear^g date the Thirty First day of Oct^r One thousand seven hundred & forty seven Indorsed on an Indre of Lease bear^g date the Twentieth day of Sept One thous^d six hund^d & eighty three made Between the R^t Honble W^m Earl of Meath of the one p^t George Edkins of Ropers Rest in the liberties of S^t Thomas Court & Donore & Co of Dublin Tan^r of the other p^t Whereby the s^d W^m Earl of Meath for the Con^sds therein ment^d did Demise & Set unto the s^d George Edkins All that piece or pcell of of Land in Tanners Row Cont^g frontw^d One hundred & fifty feet be the same more or less Bounded North w^th the s^d Row or highway leading to the Double Mills & the Dwelling Mills & the Dwelling house & outhouses of the said Mills & Westw^d with S^r Rich^d Buckleys holding w^th free Liberty of laying or placing a Pipe Two Inches Diameter in the Concave for Carrying Water from the Mill Race of s^d Mills for the Use thereof the s^d Pipe being to be kept under a Staunch Cock to pserve the Water from Waste & Liberty of Setting & placing a Door of three feet in breadth in the Bound between the Outhouses of s^d Mill & the holdings of the s^d S^r Rich^d Buckley for passage unto the s^d Millrace for Continuation & pservation of the s^d Pipe Situate lying & being in the liberty of Thomas Court & donore & C^o of Dublin Except as therein is excepted To hold to the s^d George Edkins his heirs & Ass^s for & during the nat^l life & lives of the s^d Geo Edkins Reb^a Edkins wife of the s^d Geo & Ja^s Edkins his son & the surv^rs & surv^r of them At the Yearly rent of Four Pounds fifteen shill^s Ster^g payable half yearly above Taxes w^th Cov^ts for Renew^g the same for Ever as therein in ment^d By w^ch s^d Deed of Assignment Of w^ch this is a mem^l George Edkins Gent Son of the s^d George Edkins for the Consid^ns therein ment^d did Assign & make over unto his son Peter Edkins All his R^t Title & Int^t in & to the before ment^d Premes for the Term by which he held the same under the Rent & Cov^ts thereof which s^d Deed of Assignm^t is Witnessed by Edw^d Mullan Serv^t to the said Geo Edkins & Thos Mulock of the City of Dublin Publick Notary.
