Solitaire - other games

The blue circles are counters and the black shows a hole. You move a counter by jumping it over another counter into a hole, and removing the jumped over counter. You identify which counter you wish to move by clicking on it, and then click on a hole to show where to move it. If it's a successful move, the computer will move your counter and remove the relevant counter, otherwise it will ignore you.

The aim of the game is to be left with as few counters as possible. You're supposed to finish with one counter in the middle, but this can be difficult (or even impossible for some designs!) You can, of course, try to end with some different pattern, perhaps counters in each corner, or round the edge. You can even try to end with the most counters and no valid move available! For an even more bizarre experience, select Backwards rather than Forwards. This plays the game backwards, so you will need to select a start position of Cross or Counter in centre. Then you select a counter, and move it over a hole (which fills in) to a hole. Very strange! You can even swap between Forwards and Backwards mid-game.
