I have a pub map, undated but persumed to be about 1930's, which mentions the Brewer's Arms. Since the directories mention a beer retailer and publicans at number 103, I assume this is that pub.James Ellwood, beer retailer, lived in 103 Gwydir St in 1883 (see Kelly's Directory).
Owen Taylor, publican, lived here in 1904 (see Spalding's Directory).
Frederick Barnes, publican, lived here in 1913 (see Spalding's Directory) and 1916 (see Kelly's Directory).
