History of 140a Gwydir Street

In the 1891 Census the house was occupied by
Frederick J DUNN [son of William, see house number 65 above], born 1860, a cab driver;
his wife Alice (nee NUNN), born around 1866 in Whittlesford, Cambs;
and son Frederick Ethelbert, born early 1889 in Cambridge
They also had a lodger, Sarah MANSFIELD, a 90-year old widow.

Mrs Mary Woollard, lived in 140a Gwydir St in 1904 (see Spalding's Directory) - house number 140.

In the 1911 Census, the house was occupied by
Edward William WOOLLARD [son of Samuel, see house number 140], born around 1874 in Cambridge, a tailor;
his wife Sarah Ann (nee BOWYER), born around 1873 in Somersham, Hunts;
and family
Albert Edward, born around 1901 in Cambridge
Doris, born around 1902 in Cambridge
Bertram Alfred, born around 1904 in Cambridge
Ethel Mildred, born around 1905 in Cambridge
Gladys, born around 1907 in Cambridge
Edward William, born in 1910 in Cambridge

Edward William Woollard, tailor, lived here in 1913 (see Spalding's Directory).
